If Carlsberg made fridges, this would be it.

Connected office refrigerator automatically restocks beer

We’ve seen fridge cameras which let people see what’s in the fridge whilst shopping but this takes it to the next stage. Not sure why it’s only aimed at business? I’m assuming those with a ‘pool room’ or ‘man cave’ will like the look of this.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see a fridge is on its way that detects all food and then automatically orders the products which have expired/run out.

Anheuser-Busch launched The Office Bud-E: a wifi-enabled workplace refrigerator restocking beer. Available in New York City and Chicago, the Office Bud-E can house up to 180 beers from the beverage company’s beer brands. The refrigerator uses internet connectivity to monitor beer supply levels, and either automatically place an order or email office managers when supply levels are low. Available in seven branded designs, the device is free for offices to lease.
